今天，内蒙古呼伦贝尔、兴安盟等东部地区气温不断下降，并伴有4、5级西北风。监测显示，今晨，兴安盟阿尔山市的最低气温为-36℃，较昨天下降了14℃；呼伦贝尔大部地区全天的气温几乎都在-20℃以下。在锡林郭勒盟牧区，部分路段被白毛风遮挡，最小能见度仅50米，严重影响了当地牧民生产生活。而在中西部地区，由于冷空气影响较弱，气温缓慢回升，像是呼和浩特市今晨8时的气温为-13.7℃，较昨天同时段回升了2℃。

今天白天，东部的海拉尔、额尔古纳等城市最高气温分别为-26℃、-25℃，而中西部的巴彦浩特、乌海等城市最高气温分别为8℃、5.9℃，东西部之间温差超30℃，好似一曲“冰与火之歌”。明天海拉尔、满洲里等东部城市的最高温仍在-23～-25℃左右，而西部的巴彦浩特、乌海等市在7～9℃之间，东西部温差依然超过30℃。

内蒙古气象台预计，受冷空气影响，12月28-31日，中西部大部地区将出现4、5级短时6、7级偏西大风，风后全区自西向东将出现6～8℃的降温，局地降幅可达8～10℃；同时，29日开始，乌兰察布市北部、锡林郭勒盟大部、赤峰市北部、通辽市东部、兴安盟、呼伦贝尔市将有小雪，其中兴安盟西北部、呼伦贝尔市南部、东部有中雪，呼伦贝尔市中东部部分地区有大雪。
